What are cookies?

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages geared to the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the Internet.

The interested party’s consent is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision (more information in the Cookie Management section below), the user can authorise or deny consent to installing cookies through the options provided in the “Cookie Management” section.

Duration of cookies

Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiry date (or by a specific action such as the closing of the browser) set at the time of installation.

• Session cookies: these are used to store temporary information, they allow you to connect the actions carried out during a specific session and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed;
• Persistent cookies: these are used to store information, for example the login name and password, so that the user does not have to type them again every time he visits a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser.
